P2e-Meet with Izzy

Izzy and I haven’t had a lot to do with each other over the course of the programme so it was great to be paired with her.

I went first, explaining the background to my project and where I was at. With 3 days to go until hand in, I knew I had to synthesize a lot of the material, research and ideas I had scattered over a range of word docs, illustrator and indesign files and sketches. My blog post was taking shape and the 2 prototypes were comfortably ready to see.

After showing her my work to date, my questions were around how to display all this information, and where I was lacking or needed more focus.

Her response was so helpful and direct. Do more around the customer journey, fine tune the profiles, and maybe do some sort of animation about either the user experience or the service design that formed the backbone of this work, as that wasn’t clearly defined.

Turning to her project, which is well defined and robust, my only suggestions were around some graphic design things, like widows and orphans, and about different ways to display data, like using a spider chart.

I think we both found the feedback session really helpful, and we both realised how much we have to do before Mondays hand in.
